A sheriff's deputy who pulled over a Taylorsville couple in southern Virginia early Thursday for speeding instead found himself investigating a murder case.Police in Taylorsville have charged Jerry Wayne Damron, 42, and his wife Lisa, 31, with murder after the body of a woman was found in the back of their van in Wythe County, Va., southeast of Wytheville.Police say they believe the couple shot the woman, whose identity has not been released, at their Taylorsville home before getting in their Ford minivan and heading north on Interstate 77.Jerry Damron already was facing felony death by vehicle and DWI charges for a case from last October near Hickory, when he crashed into a tree, killing his 8-year-old son and critically injuring four other children.In Thursday's case, a deputy pulled over the Damrons a few miles south of the Interstate 77/Interstate 81 interchange for speeding.
