A 16-year-old pleaded guilty this morning to a delinquency charge of reckless homicide in the shooting death of a 13-year-old friend on June 3. Jakairion Spikes must serve at least one year in the Ohio Department of Youth Services but could be held until his 21st birthday, according to the ruling by Franklin County Juvenile Court Judge Elizabeth Gill.
