PROVIDENCE -- The temperature on this Monday could climb past 80 degrees for the first time this year, according to the National Weather Service.The Weather Service forecasts a high of 83 degrees in Providence with the wind blowing from the southwest at 9 to 16 mph with gusts up to 30 mph."A warm/summerlike afternoon is in store for the region ahead of a strong cold front," the Weather Service says.
