BOE approves renovations to comply with Disabilities Act TORRINGTON -- The Board of Education gave the green light Wednesday to a project to renovate the Torrington High School parking lot to make it compliant with federal Americans with Disabilities Act standards. The project will begin in the summer and will cost approximately $197,000, but will apply to receive a 72 percent reimbursement from the state.
