A transformer fire near the Seattle Center briefly knocked out power to the Seattle Center, including the Experience Music Project, KeyArena and Space Needle, Wednesday morning. Firefighters were called to the 300 block of Sixth Avenue North about 10:05 a.m., according to fire dispatch records. Black plumes of smoke were visible from the area of Broad Street and Fifth Avenue.
