Trump Civil Fraud Trial Continues In New York

Said DeSantis: “I don’t think doing the 99-counties is just about the caucus … I think it has significance beyond there.

“Republican polling leader Donald Trump moved to deflect from criminal charges that he tried to overturn the 2020 election and from his own pledges to take revenge on his opponents if he returns to the White House, seeking to parry warnings that he presents a danger to democracy,” the Washington Post reports. “His speech on Saturday was an effort to turn the tables on rising alarms from Democrats and some Republicans that Trump’s return to power would imperil free elections and civil liberties.”

“The chief super PAC supporting Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis, Never Back Down, has fired its interim chief executive officer after less than two weeks,” Politico reports. “It was the latest in a series of shake-ups as tumult has continued to disrupt the super PAC for weeks.”

Many Republicans weren't happy with former Rep. George Santos's expulsion from Congress. Ultimately, the vote came in at 311 to 114 to expel the Long Island fabulist. Among Republicans, 105 members voted to kick his lying ass to the curb, and 112 voted on keeping him like a weight around the neck of his party. The top House GOP leadership, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, voted against the grifter's expulsion.

He seems to think he's some kind of god now, based on his new interview with fawning reporter.

It’s entirely possible that the missing tapes are misfiled in some dusty closet but, for now, the fact that the interviews are missing is a scandal in the making.
