Associated Press/Mark LennihanTrump Tower, one of the most famous skyscrapers in the world, is home to one of New York’s best-kept secrets: public gardens that offer respite far from the madding midtown crowd. Finding the gardens isn’t easy, though, and getting into them can be even harder. Should you enter them, you’ll find that much of the flora is dead. The gardens aren’t better known in part because Trump Tower barely acknowledges they exist. The building’s public entrance on Fifth Avenue doesn’t mention them, though it features signs inviting people to the Trump Bar, Trump Grill, Trump Café, Trump Ice Cream Parlor and Trump Store. Eagle-eyed visitors may spot a sign above the lobby elevators that discloses the gardens.
