At least 18 Northeast Florida organizations are taking part Tuesday in Give Local Jax, the local version of a national 24-hour online crowdfunding event for nonprofits. The area nonprofits that are participating work on education, social services, homelessness, hunger, arts and animal welfare and provide services to women and girls, adults with disabilities, seniors and the LGBT community, among other things.
