Ucross Foundation Ranch Designated As Important Bird Area

SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) — The Ucross Foundation ranch has been designated as an important bird area. The distinction is granted by the National Audubon Society and the American Bird Conservancy. It recognizes habitats as crucial for the conservation of bird populations. The Casper Star-Tribune reports (http://tinyurl.com/kjhprhh ), the groups will work with the ranch in a partnership to identify, monitor and conserve the area to save birds.
