MOSCOW — Russia agreed Thursday to resume selling natural gas to Ukraine, ending a cut-off that had threatened to leave Ukrainian households shivering as winter approached. The stop-gap deal will secure critical energy supplies for Ukraine through March and will also help assure European countries that their own natural gas supply will not be disrupted during chilly winter months.
