US spends $25.3 billion on video games

A consumer spending study from research firm Newzoo breaks down the percentage of dollars spent on video games by country. According to 2009 Today's Gamers Survey, The U.S. shelled out $25.3 billion on games and around 40 percent of that went to used, mobile, or online games.
