Utah Trooper Struck, Injured By Car While Investigating Separate Crash

A Utah Highway Patrol trooper suffered serious injuries when a car struck him as he was investigating a crash alongside Interstate 15 near Cedar City. The trooper was inspecting a Ford passenger car that had hydroplaned and struck a cable barrier near the highway about 3 p.m. when a second car, a black BMW, collided with the Ford.
