It's the premise on which veteran Oklahoma City chiropractor Bobby Doscher has practiced for 40 years and successfully treated hundreds of children with diagnoses ranging from nursing difficulties, colic and asthma to autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida and more. “We always see a change,” said Doscher, president of the nonprofit Children's Chiropractic Clinic “Oklahaven” in Oklahoma City. “With gentle realignments of the spine, the life force — or the vibrations that hold every cell in the body together — flows freely into the tissue, which has been so tight for these children for so long, restoring life,” she said. In chiropractic, this life force is known as “innate intelligence,” Doscher said, “but it has many other names including the Holy Spirit and Chi.” A native of Philadelphia, Doscher originally studied medical technology at Manor Junior College in Philadelphia, but abandoned the program because she “didn't see life in the blood out of the body,” she said.Read more on NewsOK.com
