In the strip mall parking lot at West Little York and Antoine Drive where her 26-year-old son was shot dead by a police officer 11 months ago, Janet Baker and supporters gathered for a candlelight vigil late Sunday afternoon. The event localized and built off the energy that began in Ferguson, Mo., with the shooting of black teen Michael Brown, followed by the grand jury's decision not to indict white police officer Darren Wilson.
