Wal-Mart's latest expansion in the Pikes Peak region ramps up this summer. The retailer's 10th Supercenter will open in July northwest of Interstate 25 and South Academy Boulevard in Fountain, on the south edge of Colorado Springs, Wal-Mart spokeswoman Anne Hatfield said this week. She didn't have a specific date for the opening. A nearby Sam's Club warehouse store, meanwhile, will open later in the summer, she said.
