Jamia Fields led Florida State to the NCAA Women's College Cup final, scoring twice in the second half in the Seminoles' 3-2 victory over Virginia Tech on Friday night.
Fields gave Florida State a 2-1 lead in the 57th minute and snapped a 2-2 tie in the 83rd minute to help the Seminoles (23-1-3) reach the championship game for the second time in program history.
Fields scored the winning goal on a lofted shot from the right flank from outside the box.
An attorney representing Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne and a top aide failed to convince a judge Friday that a lawsuit seeking to declare the state's limits on political contributions unconstitutionally low should be revived.
The lawsuit named Secretary of State Ken Bennett, the state's chief election officer, as a defendant.
Kanefield said if needed he was prepared to show that the limits don't crimp a candidate's ability to run a competitive election and are therefore constitutional.
Polk in October ordered Horne to return nearly $400,000 to donors and amend his campaign finance reports after finding there is evidence he violated campaign finance laws during his 2010 run for office.
Facing a tough election challenge in 2010, Horne and Winn allegedly worked together to raise money for the outside group she headed to pay for negative ads targeting Rotellini.

The overall budget total is larger than the tax collection forecast because of federal grants and spending that comes from other taxes such as gas taxes.
"While I am pleased that it appears we will once again see a budget surplus in the upcoming fiscal year, the Florida House will still work to develop a fiscally responsible budget that maximizes every dollar," McKeel said in a statement.
Senate President Don Gaetz, R-Niceville, said he was thankful for the continued good economic news, but warned that part of the latest forecast is based on a projection that taxes charged on insurance premiums will grow next year as more people enroll in health insurance due to the contentious federal overhaul.
