Side Stories in RiNo Friday-March 8. After last year’s attention-getting debut, the Side Stories outdoor-film project is returning to the River North Art District with buzzwords like “immersive” and “walkable” fully intact. The event will screen large-format films on eight exterior walls in the Brighton Boulevard area, from Great Divide Brewing Co.’s white tower to the walls of Denver Diesel and Radiator, Friday through March 8. Each artist received a $5,000 grant to create the site-specific, 5-minute loops that range from animated to live-action, and which will be digitally paired with an interactive map, audio tour and deals from local businesses (including food and drink) via sidestoriescolorado.com.
