A Los Angeles artist claims she was punched in the face after painting a nude portrait of Donald Trump.
Illma Gore, 24, says she was walking to an art supply store Friday when she claims a group of men approached her and she heard “Trump 2016,” according to NBC.
“He got out and punched me in the face and said ‘Trump 2016’—then he drove off,” Gore said.
Today I was punched in the face by a man who got out of his car and yelled, "Trump 2016!" in Los Angeles, just days after I returned home from London just down the road from my house.
Yes, it’s Wednesday. And yes, that means it’s the day after another primary.
But no, Joan McCarter won’t be with us. Like Ted Cruz, she’s dropping out! But unlike Ted, she’ll be back.
So, hey, how about that Donald Trump guy? Pretty crazy, huh?
Listen LIVE right here at 9:00 AM ET!
From now on, it will cost you $1,000 per episode to listen to the Kagro in the Morning show on Daily Kos Radio.
From the GREAT STATE OF MAINE…
I’m Feeling Haikuish. Avert your eyes
It's Trump. Trump's their guy.
Merry Christmas, Democrats
Goldwater, Part Dieux
"Cruz is Lucifer!"
Ha Ha everyone's laughing
Gun in Mommy's purse
Or as Mommy's tot calls it
Toy in Mommy's BLAM!
Donald Trump vets veeps
One sacred test must be passed
Land a sucker punch
Where bathroom predators lurk
In tiny closed minds
Yay it feels like spring
My leopard-print thong still fits!
(Down go neighbor's blinds)
Cheers and Jeers starts below the fold
As always after a primary, the best stories will come tomorrow. Donald Trump crushed his side of things and gave Ted Cruz more to whine about in the ‘who is more disliked’ primary. Cruz is out, but John Kasich will be running in December, still thinking he’s got a shot (although to be fair, he accomplished his goal and took out Cruz).
On the D side, Indiana was a close win for Bernie, which did not change the equation at all: Hillary v Trump in the fall.
It seems strange to say this about the man who, until last night, was one of the last three people standing in a Republican presidential primary that has come to resemble a cross between “Rollerball” and Insult Night at the local Chuckle Hut, but Ted Cruz was always a terrible candidate for the GOP nomination.
Over the past couple of weeks, Cruz’s ineptness has already become crystal clear.
A week after the New York primary, I had lunch with a colleague whom I hadn’t seen for a year. We are both avowed feminists and members of a joke secret society, Women Who Get Shit Done (we have badges, that’s about it); she started talking about having voted for Hillary Clinton, in that confiding way one does when presuming the other person feels the same.
