By Brandy McDonnellThe Nghiems, the Oklahoma City band fronted by brothers David and James Nghiem, released Sunday the video for "Cigarettes and Coffee," a song from their latest album, “Soulmatic.”The band reteamed with OKC filmmaker Kyle Roberts, with whom they made their rad 2011 music video for "Dum Dum Dah Dah," to make the "Cigarettes and Coffee" clip. It's a much less elaborate video, but the sentiment is strong: The Nghiem brothers wrote and recorded "Cigarettes and Coffee" in memory of their father, who died in 2010 of cancer, and debuted the video on Father's Day.The Nghiems released “Soulmatic” digitally in April 2018, which they followed by a limited vinyl release in August.“Soulmatic” is the band’s second album. For more information, go to www.thenghiemsband.com, www.facebook.com/TheNghiemsBand or www.instagram.com/thenghiems.-BAMRead more on NewsOK.com
