Mike Trout had his 21st multi-hit game, Jason Vargas pitched into the eighth inning and the Los Angeles Angels beat the Kansas City Royals 5-2 on Friday night to extend their winning streak to six games. Trout had two hits, stole his 11th base and scored two runs, including one on a wild pitch.

Brazilian club Santos says it has accepted two offers made for young striker Neymar and the player will decide where to play. Santos did not say which clubs made the offers, but officials from Spain powerhouses Barcelona and Real Madrid had been negotiating with the Brazilian club for the past few days. Details of the offers also were not made official, but Brazilian media is reporting that Real Madrid is willing to pay €35 million for Neymar, €7 million more than rival Barcelona.
