Pixar's Inside Out 2 will have Riley encounter a new series of emotions. Yet, amid the colorful chaos, one potential character never made it past the cutting room floor. The emotion of Shame, originally designed to join the ensemble, was excluded for its overwhelmingly somber tone, which tilted the film's balance toward the darker side of the emotional spectrum.

Deadpool & Wolverine has hyped up Marvel fans for the ultimate throwback to the Fox X-Men Universe, with cameos galore promised as the multiverse takes control of the R-rated side of the MCU. This could mean that any number of once lost characters could make a reappearance – such as X-Men Origins: Wolverine star Kevin Durand’s The Blob.

With two major sci-fi sequels debuting this week to lead the VOD and Netflix charts, the new films inspired victory laps for their predecessors. Also noted: 'Immaculate' and 'Anyone But You.'

Zack Snyder, along with co-writer Kurt Johnstad, plans to broaden the scope of the Rebel Moon franchise to encompass a total of six films. This split-trilogy format deviates from traditional trilogy structures, where each installment will consist of two parts.

French filmmaker Maïwenn has openly shared her experiences directing Johnny Depp in the historical drama Jeanne du Barry, candidly addressing the issues she faced due to Depp’s script interference, tardiness and general on-set presence. The film is the first movie to feature Depp since his legal battle with Amber Heard in 2022.
