A woman was cited Friday on suspicion of negligently discharging a firearm within Simi Valley city limits, police said.The 50-year-old woman allegedly discharged a round while trying to unload her rifle, causing a bullet to lodge in a carport behind a condominium complex in the 1100 block of Tivoli Lane, police said.Officers said they went to the complex to investigate after a caller reported hearing a gunshot about 7 p.m.
