Woodland Web Firm Bubbles Up Profits

In 1987, Coleman Sisson of The Woodlands helped performer Jimmy Buffett retrieve from a crashed computer the only copy of a manuscript he was writing. When he founded digital marketing firm BubbleUp in November 2004, his goal was to create websites where fans could buy everything from concert tickets to merchandise, CDs and downloads. Through its connection to Buffett, the firm added client MuzicMafia, which was a coalition of country artists started by music duo Big & Rich. BubbleUp branched out of country music and now works with artists like John Mellencamp, Aerosmith and KISS.
