Our long national nightmare is over: iPads may be finally launching in two weeks. In an invite image sent to press on Tuesday, Apple confirmed it will hold a livestreamed product announcement event on May 7 at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET. The event, titled "Let Loose," is advertised with an image of a hand holding an Apple Pencil, all but confirming that this will center around iPads.

If you tried to use X this morning (April 23) and saw something wonky, you're not alone. The social media platform formerly known as Twitter was acting up all morning. For some users, it showed reposts as the manual RTs of yore. Other users couldn't update their home screen or trending topics but could see updates in specific people's profiles.

Sonos has heard you, its users, and it made its mobile app better. That, at least, is the company's promise as it unveiled its new mobile app, as well as an all-new web app, on Tuesday. The upcoming app refresh does away with tabs on the bottom of the screen, instead providing access to Sonos system controls, your music library, recently played items, and the search bar, all on the Home screen.
No more tabs.
