Youth Lockups: Family Of Missing Girl Says Juvenile System Is 'train-wrecked'

A Falcon family's 17-year-old daughter escaped from the Betty K. Marler Youth Services Center in Lakewood on July 25. She's still missing. The girl, who was serving a one- to two-year sentence for heroin possession, is believed to have landed in the Colorado Springs area. "Our juvenile system is train-wrecked," says the girl's mother, Kristine Matheny.
