Yves Carcelle Dies At 66; Former Louis Vuitton Ceo

Yves Carcelle, the former chief executive who turned Louis Vuitton into the world’s largest and most valuable luxury brand, died Aug. 31 in Paris. He was 66. Paris- based LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA, which owns Vuitton, announced the death. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer last year, Women’s Wear Daily reported.
