Kevin Mccarthy Is Lying About Ilhan Omar

Three times in the past week, House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy has accused Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Minnesota Democrat, of making explicit, derogatory comments about Jews. McCarthy is lying: Omar has never made such comments. McCarthy is telling this lie because if Republicans were to grapple with what Omar actually said, they would have to acknowledge that they’ve said the same.

    Day 3 of testimony from Michael Cohen continued today! The cross examination started mid-day on Tuesday and we fully expected it to wrap up today, but it did not! So Cohen will be back on the stand on Monday at 9:30am. Hopefully it wraps up at that point and we can get to redirect and then the defense case. As of the writing of this summary post, the defense has alluded to the fact that they may have two witnesses.
