AUSTIN — It looks like the proposed Medicaid rate cuts for pediatric therapy for disabled children won’t be implemented for a while — if ever. Responding to letters from Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and state Sen. Jane Nelson, chairwoman of the Senate Finance Committee, Texas Health and Human Services Commissioner Chris Traylor said the agency won’t proceed with the cuts if the care for disabled kids is in jeopardy. read more
