Terence Hill (Mario Girotti) was born in Venice/Italy on March 29, 1939. His first movie was "Vancanze col gangster" (1951), directed by Dino Risi. After starring in over 30 films, including "The Wide Blue Road" (1957), "The Leopard" (1963) and 4 westerns made in Germany, he played the leading part in the Italian western "God forgives, I don't", together with Bud Spencer, who would become his "partner" in 17 movies. One of the most important years in Terence Hill's career was 1970: "They Call me Trinity" (a slapstick western) made him a star and him and Bud Spencer to one of the most popular "couples" in film history. Their movies include "Trinity is Still my Name", "All the Way, Boys" (1972), "Watch out, We're Mad!" (1974), "Crime Busters" (1977), "Odds and Evens" (1978), "I’m for the Hippopotamus" (1979), "Go for it" (1983) and "Double Trouble" (1984). Terence Hill's solo movies include: "My Name is Nobody" (1973, directed by Sergio Leone), "Mister Billion" (1976), "March or Die" (1977), "Superfuzz" (1980), "Don Camillo" (1984), "Lucky Luke", (feature film and TV series shot from 1990-1992) and "Virtual Weapon" (1997). From 1999 until 2003, he starred as a a priest-detective in the Italian TV series "Don Matteo". Terence Hill received the "Outstanding Actor of the Year" award at the 42nd International Television Festival of Monte Carlo (Monaco).
