Stories Related to Ailing Eli Misses Practice; Sunday Status Unclear

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has been held out of practice so he can get treatment on his injured right foot. Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Wednesday that Manning was making progress with the inflammation around his heel, which has been diagnosed as plantar fasciitis. Coughlin said Manning would be evaluated day to day and his status for Sunday's game at home against the Oakland Raiders is uncertain.
