Murrah Federal Building bombing that killed 168. Friday’s ceremony will include 168 seconds of silence observed at 9:02 a.m., along with the reading of the names of those killed. The ceremony has become an annual event that features remarks from dignitaries from across the state and the nation. The first remembrance ceremony, held one year after the attack, included an address from former Vice President Al Gore, who said the country had been inspired by the resiliency of Oklahoma City. “You have touched and taught a nation,” Gore said in 1996.Read more on NewsOK.com
