AKRONGuilty pleasAKRON: An Akron physician and two of his employees have pleaded guilty Monday to illegally prescribing hundreds of thousands of doses of painkillers to customers who didn’t have a medical issue.Federal officials say Dr. Adolph Harper Jr., 64, and his employees conspired to distribute addictive controlled substances including prescription painkillers and anti-anxiety medication without legitimate medical purposes between 2009 and 2012.
