The annual event is the largest fundraiser of the year for Family Centers, a nonprofit organization that offers education and human services to children, adults and families in Fairfield County. Over the years, Lee Woodruff, Anna Quindlen and Elizabeth Edwards have taken the podium for the event, sharing stories of resilience and perseverance in an effort to help the local organization raise funds to aid families coping with loss, critical illness and other life-altering situations.
