Stories Related to 'arizona Model' For Behavioral Health Crisis Care Gains Attention From Other States

As in other parts of the U.S., Arizona's crisis centers are open 24 hours, seven days a week, and everyone is accepted. What makes Arizona's centers different is that police officers, the first to intervene in most behavioral health crises, are guaranteed a drop-off time of no more than 10 minutes.
