An Augusta man who stabbed an acquaintance repeatedly and hard enough to break the tip of the knife in the victim’s neck was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in prison. Bain M. Broome pleaded guilty in Richmond County Superior Court to one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.
