The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs medical facility in Aurora is now 78 percent complete and is on-track for a previously announced 2018 completion. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers was awarded a $571 million contract to finish work on the 1.2 million-square-foot medical center in October 2015 and took over management of the site in November.
