Authorities are asking the public’s help in searching for a homeless Skamania County man believed to have been a victim of foul play in 2017. Skamania County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a camp just north of Stevenson in October 2017 for a report of suspicious circumstances, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. The camper, William “Bill” Sutton, 55, was not found, and deputies found evidence of an assault, according to the press release.
