Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) has generated numerous headlines over the past week and a half. Whether it was his handling of a question about President Barack Obama's religion, his reversal of a past stance on comprehensive immigration reform or his claim that experience with mass protesters in 2011 equips him to take on Islamic State militants, the apparent Republican presidential hopeful consumed much of the political news cycle during his recent visit to the East Coast. Garnering far less attention -- beyond Wisconsin media, anyway -- has been Walker's role in the momentous policy change unfolding in Madison right now.
