As many people begin final preparations to break bread and offer thanks, some Ventura County residents are forgoing the traditional Thanksgiving feast and looking ahead to presents under the Christmas tree. Cameron Dawson, 24, of Simi Valley, is one of about 20 people camped outside a Best Buy store in Simi Valley, saving a place in line for Black Friday sales.
