Not that long ago, a former college baseball player and a former college football player became friends over their mutual love of competition, and also the musical careers they both decided to pursue after graduation. Music isn't always the ideal arena for competition, but Needham guitarist Sam August, and singer/guitarist Alex MacGillvray kept running into each other as they played with various cover bands, usually in the rock or country style, in the Boston area.
