Canadian police say a soldier was shot just before 10 a.m. Wednesday while standing guard at the National War Memorial in Ottawa just outside Parliament, the Associated Press reports. Witnesses say a gunman also entered Parliament, while some heard shots fired from within the building. Parliament was in session when the suspect entered.
