SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Carlos Estevez‘s season is on hold. The hard-throwing right-hander, who has designs on being a late-game reliever for the Rockies, had “a little setback” with his injured left oblique. He had hoped to pitch in a few Cactus League games to get ready for the regular season, but he said Monday that the timetable has changed. “Maybe in two days I will throw a bullpen, and then we’ll see what’s happening,” said Estevez, who hasn’t thrown since Thursday.
