A chemistry professor in China has been convicted of exporting $600,000 worth of psychoactive drugs per month to the U.S. and Europe, in a case that has drawn comparisons with the hit AMC television series Breaking Bad. The scientist, surnamed Zhang, was found guilty Tuesday of selling 32 kg of illegal drugs including the MDMA-like methylone and the so-called “zombie drug” Flakka, which has been linked with a series of savage attacks.
