Clarence Thomas' time on the bench has been nothing short of a grossly corrupt caricature of what a Supreme Court Justice should be like. The New York Times reports that Thomas amended an earlier filing to include lavish vacations to Bali and an exclusive California club paid for by Texas billionaire Harlan Crow.
In the history of softball interviews, Dr. Phil McGraw's interview last night with convicted felon Donald Trump was the softballiest. And it was weird, too. Really weird. So, Dr. Phil is definitely a Trumper, and part of that might be that he doesn't want to fork over his fair share of taxes.
The TV psychologist weighed in on the former reality TV show star's desire for retribution against his perceived enemies.
Soon-to-be-jailed Steve Bannon told Tommy Tuberville that it is likely President Biden will start a "wag the dog" war with Russia in order to win the 2024 election.
There is no basis for this, but Bannon's mission is to propagate subversive information to his GOP followers.
Bannon lies about US relations with the Russians by insanely claiming they've always been our friends.
MSNBC's Joy Reid went toe to toe with Trump-loving MAGA Republican Byron Donalds after his remarks about Jim Crow, but the entire fiasco was nothing more than an exercise in futility.
You're never going to get any of these liars like Donalds to admit they're wrong about anything, and instead it was an opportunity for Donalds to deny what he said, accuse the other side of gaslighting, and probably earn himself a few points with Republicans for "owning the libs" by being willing to come on MSNBC and snarl at the host.

Fox News host Bill Hammer played video of MSNBC host Joy Reid's confrontation with Rep. Byron Donald's over his Jim Crow remarks and then played Donalds' actual words which proved Reid's point succinctly.
The point is that Donalds did say 'Black America was better off in the Jim Crow era because they voted more conservatively and made it seem like Black families thrived under Jim Crow.'
Fox News played a video mashup.
Reid: Is there a specific period between 1867 and 1968 that you thought was this golden era for black families or a time that was good for black families?
Donalds: Joy, I never said that.
Needing some clickbait probably, The Federalist (a far-right conservative online magazine funded by right-wing billionaires) resorted to slagging America's sweetheart and cultural icon, Dolly Parton. And their reasoning? She doesn't hate on the gays as a good Christian is supposed to do, at least in their perverse worldview.
And who did they enlist for this thankless task (although probably well-compensated for her 703 words of shameless bigotry) but an Evangelical writer for World magazine and reporter for Christianity Today named Ericka Andersen.

To be sure, the culture is on a constant witch hunt for those who would call homosexuality sinful.
