LOCKPORT, La. (AP) — Bollinger Shipyards will build 26 Sentinel-class fast-response cutters for the U.S. Coast Guard. The Lockport-based company said Wednesday it was awarded a new contract to build Phase II of the ships — the newest generation of patrol cutters. A news release says the new boats will replace ones that Bollinger built more than 30 years ago.
