A McHenry County judge Tuesday sentenced a Crystal Lake man to five years in prison for his fourth domestic battery conviction. Tristan L. Taggart, 32, of the 800 block of Boxwood Drive, Crystal Lake, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a felony charge of domestic battery, according to a news release from the McHenry County State's Attorney's Office sent Wednesday. McHenry County Judge Jeffrey Hirsch ordered Taggart to serve five years in prison for the offense, which stemmed from a Jan.
