The Charlotte Hornets have named Shelly Cayette-Weston as the NBA team’s president of business operations.
Weston is currently executive vice president and chief commercial officer with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Her 12-year tenure in Cleveland has been devoted to business development and sponsorships. That work has included business development for sister franchises in the American Hockey League team and the NBA G League as well as the NBA Cavs.
