A passenger car driver suffered life-threatening injuries Wednesday morning after colliding with a tour bus full of children on Vashon Island. Three private tour buses were toting children from out of town on a field trip about 11:30 a.m. when one of the buses hit a car nearly head-on in the 24700 block of Vashon Highway Southwest, according to King County Sheriff’s Office reports.
