KHON-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2dARJgU) families of people kept in prison-like conditions during World War II were among those who attended the Saturday opening of the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii's education center at Honouliuli National Monument. President and executive director Carole Hayashino said students, teachers and community members can use the center to learn about the wartime experiences of Japanese Americans in Hawaii.
