RICHMOND — The executive director of the Democratic Party of Virginia announced Wednesday that he is stepping down after a year on the job, continuing an election-year shakeup at the party.Robert Dempsey said in email to party leaders that he will leave May 19 to “pursue a new career opportunity.” A successor is expected to be named in a matter of days.Read full article >>
